Volunteering

We provide volunteering opportunities for everyone over the age of 18 and also work with a range of local agencies to provide support for individuals that have been marginalised through ill health, long term unemployment or life experiences. Volunteering at Sydney Bridge can help them gain confidence, rebuild self esteem, is very rewarding and according to our volunteers, fun.

The Volunteer Charter is our commitment to volunteers as we want you to have a positive experience whilst you are with us.

We recognise that everyone is different, you may be with us for just a few weeks or you may be with us for longer (>16 years for one of our volunteers), above all else we value our volunteers and we would not be able to operate without them and achieve what we have.

When you contact us we will send you an application pack (or you can download it below) that we ask you to complete.  This should take no more than 10 minutes.  Once we have received the completed pack we will invite you to come and have an informal chat to explain what we do and to see if volunteering is right for you.
